New Memoir Explores a Life of Faith, Family and Adventure

QUALICUM BEACH, British Columbia (PRWEB) November 16, 2012

In her new book “Take the Wings of a Morning” (published by iUniverse), author Kathy Wilson relates to readers the important happenings in her life and how her strong Christian faith impacted all of those happenings.

“I write about my life and my family,” she says, “starting from when I grew up in England during World War II.” She explores the trials and tribulations of having given birth to and raised five children in five different towns, having adventures and traveling widely. Through all of these experiences runs Wilson’s strong faith.
“There are far too few Christian people who are willing to expose themselves and their faith to the general public,” Wilson writes. “We need more people to do so openly and without fear.”

After the death of her husband, Wilson sets out on a second lifetime of adventure, faith and sacrifice, bringing help and the Word of God to people around the world. Through all of these adventures, she keeps a firm hold on her faith.

“I know my life is in God’s hands,” she says, “and I am content to have it that way.”
