Walter Metrokin’s New Memoir Exemplifies Power of Positivity

San Marcos, Calif. (PRWEB) January 23, 2013

The new memoir “Out of Alaska: A Native guys humble beginnings to a Fortune 100 Corporation” (published by iUniverse) recounts the uplifting life story of Walter Metrokin, a man who left Alaska with the Navy and found a lifetime of success through hard work and effort.

“This story proves that anyone can achieve whatever goal or objective you want to attain,” Metrokin says. “You don’t need to have a college degree, don’t need to have wealthy parents or relatives to buy your goal for you. If you have a negative attitude about yourself or your life then please don’t waste your time or money on this book. You’ll never begin the upward climb to success!”

“Out of Alaska” has already received positive reviews, including this one from Janice Watkins:

“The account of Walter’s (Vladimir’s) life is an absorbing story with a dash of suspense. As his childhood in the rural territory of Alaska unfolds, the question looms ‘Can he overcome the difficulties of a rather isolated existence and family problems to succeed as an adult in the wider “outside” world?’ His story is presented with unvarnished truth and provides the reader with an interesting mix of glimpses of Alaska at that time and the development of his character.”

“Too few people set goals for themselves,” Metrokin notes. He knows after that, having read his story, readers will see the power of goal-setting and the value of effort and positive attitude.
