Mark Ellsberry Offers New Time Travel Adventure

Brentwood, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 - In his new book “The Dinosaur’s Descendants” (published by iUniverse), author and lifelong science fiction reader Mark Ellsberry has drawn from his own interests to craft an exciting story of time travel.

In “The Dinosaur’s Descendants,” the national security agency group called Team T-REX is sent to test the country’s new time travel capability. As part of this effort they discover a previously unknown civilization that is planting the seeds of destruction for today’s world. Steven Andrews, a Ph.D. in paleontology, and Colonel Eleanor Johnston must stop terrorists from both eras in order to stave off global nuclear war in the present.

Ellsberry believes his book touches on the most sensitive issues of modern society: terrorism, prejudice, conservation of the environment, alternate philosophies of government and religion and the need for alternative energy sources.

One of the attractions of this book is the effort the author has made for scientific accuracy. “Within the fabric of the story is information as to the actual conditions of planet Earth 65 million years ago including the flora and fauna of the time,” says Ellsberry. “This should allow the reader to relate strongly to the history of our planet of the long haul.”
