Toronto (PRWEB) February 19, 2014 Author and volunteer soccer coach Pedro Alves has loved soccer since he was a child. His cousin and godfather, Pedro Ferreira is a former professional soccer player who made an impression on Alves, even as a child. Alves carried his love for soccer into adulthood and now hopes to share this passion with others. In his new guide, “The Journey to Becoming a Professional Soccer Player: A Manual” (published by iUniverse), Alves offers motivation for aspiring soccer players and provides coaches with the tips and tools.
Alves’ new guide comes from a place of passion and love. As a volunteer coach, he has grown accustomed to helping youth, claiming “it is its own reward.”
In his guide, Alves uses motivational language meant to inspire future soccer players as well as coaches. A former soccer player, Alves learned which techniques worked for him and shares them in his guide. He also includes numerous tips for coaches to apply, which he believes can help aspiring soccer players “unlock their full potential.”
“I want parents, coaches and players to know that yes, there is a great possibility of playing professionally,” Alves says. “I want to share with you the steps that need to be taken to be a professional football (soccer) player and how to avoid the steps that could keep you from reaching your full potential.”
